8 Natural Ways To Avoid Wrinkles On The Face

Wrinkles occur on the face as a result of dryness and lack of elasticity. It can also be as a result of aging or other environmental factors.

Below are 8 ways you can get rid of or avoid wrinkles, naturally, and please don't forget to stick to healthier meals too :

1. OLIVE OIL

Oh! I can’t emphasize enough on how much I love olive oil. When I tell people olive oil is my night moisturizer, they argue. They always say “how can your skin be so smooth and you say you’re using olive oil?” Oh well.. shrugs

To reduce wrinkles, massage a few drops of olive oil on your skin before bedtime. You can leave it on, and wash it off in the morning or you can wipe it off gently with a clean face towel. Your skin will feel soft and supple in the morning.

2. ALOE VERA

Cut an aloe Vera open, take out some gel from the leaf and apply it on your neatly washed face. Wait for 15 minutes or till it dries then wash it off. You can mix it with vitamin E oil and apply it on your face for the same effect.

3. BANANA

Its nutritional properties can fight wrinkles. Just mash one or two sticks of banana(s) until a paste is formed. Then massage on your face, and let it be there for about thirty minutes before washing off. You can mix it with avocado or honey to get the same effect. Please be sure your skin is not sensitive to banana.

4. CARROTS

I noticed most beauty products especially body lotions now have their names starting with “carrot” because carrot is their major ingredient. Carrots are rich in vitamin A which promotes collagen production, thereby keeping the skin smooth and wrinkle-free.

Simply blend one or two sticks of boiled carrot till a paste is formed. Mix with honey, and and apply it on your face everyday for about 30 minutes, then wash off.

You can also eat them raw.

5. PINEAPPLE

Please if you have a sensitive skin, don’t bother putting pineapple juice on your face as it may be itchy. Just eat them.

6. LEMON JUICE

Vitamin C in Lemon can be a great way to treat wrinkles naturally. Lemon is not so good on your skin because it can cause irritation when applied, so I’d rather you drink the juice than put it on your face.

7. EGG WHITES

Did you know that eggs can do wonders for your overall health? Egg white is a natural remedy for pimples.

Just whisk some egg whites in a bowl and apply on your skin directly. Massage and allow it to sit for 15 minutes or you can just let it dry out then wash off with warm water. The protein, vitamin B, and E in egg whites will heal those fine lines naturally.

8. DRINK WATER

One of the best ways to keep your skin wrinkle-free is by drinking water - lots of water. Keep your skin hydrated, and wrinkles will stay far away from you.

So that’s basically it, guys. You can just pick one or two out these 7 because number 8 is a must! Do them everyday for a week, and share your results with me.

Bonus tips to slow down aging on the face :

* Wear Sunscreen

* Cut down on smoking

    1. You don't have to use all. Try one mask for a week or two first, and see if it works for you. But you can use the olive oil every night.

    1. Yes it is good too. Maybe you can mix your water with ĺemon juice if you're finding it hard to drink plain water but you just need to be consistent with it, and you'll get used to it

9 Psychological Facts About Love

Let me start by saying that I'm not a love nor a relationship expert; but I've found these to be true. Growing up, I never questioned what love is because I had a lot of it from my family; and I'll simply tell anyone that love is genuine care, and selflessness.  I once read a Christian book that said that Agape Love  is the purest form of love, but I'm not defining what love is, or is not, today! Below, I'll be sharing some psychological facts about love especially for romantic relationships . Photo Credit : Unsplash

I Do Not Conform

This is just one of those topics I didn’t think deeply about; just some random thoughts on a random rainy cold night, put into writing! You ever scrolled through social media, and saw one of those posts that say “A woman is 'supposed to'….”? Oh my! How much I detest stuff like that.

How Living A Private Life Can Make You Stronger And Happier

Sighs...  We live in a generation where people feel like, or think that if you aren't posting nor sharing almost every moment of your life on social media, then nothing good is happening to you; and you're sad. I’ll be sharing this based on my personal experience; but let me explain what it means to live a private life. It means not sharing every personal detail about your life publicly. However, privacy is not the same as secrecy because people often confuse the two. Also, living a private life doesn't mean that you shouldn’t ask for help when you're in dire need of it. As an introvert, I keep most personal stuff to myself; but I used to trust easily until I learned the hard way. I learned that not everyone means well for you; and the scary part of it is that you may never know.  Photo Credit: Deposit photos
