My Night Skincare Routine For A Clear And Glowing Skin

Hi guys, welcome to another skincare talk day/night — depending on the time you’re reading this.

I take skincare seriously because your skin is one of the first things people notice about you when they see you; and I’ve always believed and said that you don’t need to spend so much money to have or maintain a flawless skin.

But not to be insensitive, I know a lot of people have battled with skin issues, and also spent a lot of money to have a great looking skin, and that is one of the reasons I’m sharing my skincare routine, and I hope it helps!

A nighttime skincare routine that concentrates on hydration and repair can keep your skin firm and clear, and I also believe a night skincare routine is the most important because you get to sleep afterwards, and during sleep, your skin's blood flow increases, and the organ rebuilds its collagen and repairs damage from UV exposure thereby reducing wrinkles, and age spots.

Before I get started on my routine, please make sure that you always keep your skin clean, and free of makeup before going to bed.

Here are the steps to my night skincare routine :

1. Cleanse

I use RDL baby face cleanser to clean my face and neck. I made a video reviewing this product on my YouTube channel. You can watch the video below

This facial cleanser is quite affordable, and helps get rid of acne. I wait for 5 minutes after using it before going to shower.

2. Shower

Just because I don’t want so much products on my skin to avoid irritation, I use facial cleansers before shower, and wash it off in shower

3. Vitamin C Serum

Most people use vitamin C serum during the day; but I prefer to use it at night! Contrary to popular belief, vitamin C can darken your skin especially when you don’t use a moisturizer or sunscreen after applying it. It’s one of the reasons I prefer to use it at night with my night face cream.

Ps, I’ll be telling you guys the best Vitamin C serum to use after trying out some. Please be sure to subscribe to my Youtube channel to get updates on that.

4. Moisturizer

For this, I use my night face cream; but if you have any good moisturizer, it’ll work just fine.

PLEASE DON'T FORGET : Whatever you apply on your face, also apply on your neck!

5. Get your beauty sleep!

It's called beauty sleep for a reason, and just like I stated above, during sleep, your skin's blood flow increases, and the organ rebuilds its collagen, and repairs damage from UV exposure thereby reducing wrinkles and age spots.

Be sure to get enough sleep at night! This is the part of my skincare routine I rarely practice because I’m more creative at night — since that’s when the environment is serene hence I work better at night; but imagine how prettier I’ll look if I get a good sleep every night!

There you go, guys! This is my night skincare routine!

I hope you find it helpful. Morning skincare routine coming soon. Stay safe! Xo, Moxie 🖤

9 Psychological Facts About Love

Let me start by saying that I'm not a love nor a relationship expert; but I've found these to be true. Growing up, I never questioned what love is because I had a lot of it from my family; and I'll simply tell anyone that love is genuine care, and selflessness.  I once read a Christian book that said that Agape Love  is the purest form of love, but I'm not defining what love is, or is not, today! Below, I'll be sharing some psychological facts about love especially for romantic relationships . Photo Credit : Unsplash

I Do Not Conform

This is just one of those topics I didn’t think deeply about; just some random thoughts on a random rainy cold night, put into writing! You ever scrolled through social media, and saw one of those posts that say “A woman is 'supposed to'….”? Oh my! How much I detest stuff like that.

How Living A Private Life Can Make You Stronger And Happier

Sighs...  We live in a generation where people feel like, or think that if you aren't posting nor sharing almost every moment of your life on social media, then nothing good is happening to you; and you're sad. I’ll be sharing this based on my personal experience; but let me explain what it means to live a private life. It means not sharing every personal detail about your life publicly. However, privacy is not the same as secrecy because people often confuse the two. Also, living a private life doesn't mean that you shouldn’t ask for help when you're in dire need of it. As an introvert, I keep most personal stuff to myself; but I used to trust easily until I learned the hard way. I learned that not everyone means well for you; and the scary part of it is that you may never know.  Photo Credit: Deposit photos
